Kennedy Home Cleanup Day
When: May. 2, 7:30AM
Where: Burnell Baptist Church, 3720 Old School Road, Four Oaks, NC & Kennedy Home of Kinston, NC
Description
Leaving the church at 7:30am to travel to the Kennedy Home in Kinston, NC to serve together at the Friends of Children one-day missions event, providing general landscaping, cleaning of cottages, organizing & sorting donation items, and other general workday needs as requested from onsite staff members.
Cleanup Day Schedule:
Additionally, we are collecting food, nonperishable items, and gift cards to donate to the Kennedy Home food drive. Please place items in the church vestibule by Wednesday April 29th. There is a list in the vestibule of suggested items to donate.
Cleanup Day Schedule:
- Depart Burnell Baptist Church at 7:30am
- 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM: Check-in at Kennedy Home
- 9:00 AM: Projects Begin
- Depart Kennedy Home between 11:30am-12:00pm heading back to Burnell Baptist Church
