Leaving the church at 7:30am to travel to the Kennedy Home in Kinston, NC to serve together at the Friends of Children one-day missions event, providing general landscaping, cleaning of cottages, organizing & sorting donation items, and other general workday needs as requested from onsite staff members.
Cleanup Day Schedule:
Depart Burnell Baptist Church at 7:30am
8:30 AM – 9:00 AM: Check-in at Kennedy Home
9:00 AM: Projects Begin
Depart Kennedy Home between 11:30am-12:00pm heading back to Burnell Baptist Church
Additionally, we are collecting food, nonperishable items, and gift cards to donate to the Kennedy Home food drive. Please place items in the church vestibule by Wednesday April 29th. There is a list in the vestibule of suggested items to donate.
